IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer monitors and maintains computer systems and networks. IT Support Engineer is responsible for taking offer application and technical support to the users. They have to respond and resolve the support requests and service tickets. He/She needs to identify, diagnose and rectify any issues in computer hardware, software, services, and applications. He/She should offer reactive and proactive support to business units and take into consideration the critical issues.

Skills Required

·        Bachelor's Degree or higher in IT/Computer OR Certified Professional.

·        3 - 5 years of experience in IT support.

·        Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Strong client interaction and documentation skills.

·        Should work in 24- 7 service, prior experience in a 24x7x365 operations environment.

·        Should have knowledge of ticketing tools.

·        Should have knowledge of Google workspace and Outlook.

·        Should have a good understanding of ITIL processes.

·        Should have a good understanding of Linux, Windows and Mac OS.

·        Adaptable to a business environment with fast changing requirements and priorities.

·        Excellent analytical & Problem-solving skills with a self-learning attitude.


·        Oversee and update assigned support service requests.

·        Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management.

·        Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.

·        Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.

·        Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.

·        Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software.

·        Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives.

·        Extend computer support for systems- software and hardware.

·        Setup computers and install software/hardware for various applications and programs.

·        Interact with staff on desktop problems and their resolution.

·        Network and connect computers within organization to better communication.

·        Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems.

·        Security monitoring, analysis, content development, and maintenance.

·        Manage Cloud Services

·        Manage Google Workspace (Advanced knowledge of Gmail and comprehensive knowledge of all other core G Suite apps).

·        E-mail Monitoring, Messaging System health monitoring.

·        Office 365 Exchange Online, Mail flow, Integration.

·        Monitor performance of local area networks, tracks significant problems, evaluates usage and modifies hardware/software for optimal performance.

·        Establishes and enforces standards, policies and procedures for local area networks.

Experience Required:
